General Booth Veterinary Hospital offers the ancient Eastern therapy of acupuncture to our patients. The art of acupuncture has been around since 6000 B.C. and can be utilized alone or can be a wonderful addition to traditional veterinary medicine. 

Acupuncture seeks to alleviate physical discomfort your pet may experience as well as aid in the treatment of other health conditions. Acupuncture is great for the treatment of most pain, nerve diseases, disc disease, geriatric issues, arthritis, neuropathies, and general muscle weakness. 

Some pet parents may worry that their pet will not tolerate acupuncture, however, we have found that most pets do extremely well! This holistic approach has a very calming effect. We have seen great success in the treatment of pets with a variety of conditions using acupuncture.
